Bluezone to Focus on Resource-Saving Solutions
Munich Fabric Start is upon us, and this edition of Bluezone will carry the conversation about cleaner denim forward.
From Tuesday Jan. 29 to Wednesday Jan. 30, those gathering at the show will encounter a focus on one key statement: “The future is now. Brave and blue.”
Centered around B.L.U.E.C.H.A.I.N. 4.0, organizers said the event will give “a clear signal for more transparency, resource-saving process solutions and conscious consumption.”
More than ever, denim makers and retailers are demanding better options for sourcing and manufacturing, and with its Ready Made Solutions, Bluezone caters to that. Solutions from vendors like SC Ready Garment Technology, Lotus Garments, Denim Authority and Pagada will be on hand at the show.
And with a nod to what’s ahead, Bluezone will feature a ‘Futuristic Customization Gallery,’ which is a collaborative project by denim specialists like Italy’s MYR and Fimatex. PG Denim, plus a presentation of a capsule collection developed by PG Denim and 2018 Denim Award winner Jonathan Christopher.
In this latest edition, Panos Sofianos, Bluezone curator, is most looking forward to highlighting, “ great synergies in the market, helping brands get closer to the manufacturing sector, and our ‘let them know’ education initiative by inviting the best skilled professionals to bring seminars and workshops with the latest groundbreaking discoveries for the denim community.”
“The current Bluezone is fully booked yet again,” said Munich Fabric Start managing director Sebastian Klinder. “Boasting a spectacular portfolio of the best brands and most innovative products we are therefore organizing one of the best denim shows worldwide. In Munich the future of denim is happening now.”
