Tackle the Terminology with Carved in Blue’s Sustainability Glossary
As companies’ sustainability commitments have become more complex, so too has the vocabulary surrounding environmental responsibility. With the industry’s manifold indexes and benchmarks, plus numerous technological advances and organizations to keep track of, it can be a challenge to stay up to speed.
Carved in Blue wants to help you keep up with the lingo, including the players and processes that are driving sustainable change, with a newly launched glossary. From A to zero-carbon, the index features more than 100 terms, covering concepts ranging from raw material sourcing to the end-of-life stages of textiles.
We’re also delving into some of the jargon surrounding the production of TENCELTM branded fibers and other cellulose-based materials. Lenzing is committed to sustainability by creating fibers out of responsibly sourced renewable, natural resources. We’re also focused on reducing waste through the use of recycled inputs and the creation of biodegradable materials.
