“Since its launch in February, TENCEL™ Modal with Indigo Color technology has been adopted by a number of mills around the globe. Turkey’s Bossa is one of the denim manufacturers experimenting with the new TENCEL™ Modal offering, which has indigo pigment embedded at the fiber production stage. Rather than dyeing the fibers after the yarn is created—which is a resource-intensive process—TENCEL™ Modal with Indigo Color technology incorporates dye into the production process. This is a savings in water, chemicals and energy compared to conventional indigo yarn dyeing.”
