Lenzing, EU Project Aims to Boost Textile Value Chain Circularity

“Austrian cellulosic fiber producer Lenzing Group, non-profit RTDS Group and 13 other partners are working on a co-funded EU project that will use bio-based lyocell filaments in a bid to make the textile industry more sustainable. By optimizing the entire fabric production process, and its intermediate processing steps, the aim is to replace synthetic fibers with environmentally friendly lyocell filaments in recyclable applications.”
