Lenzing Hints at Upturn Despite Sluggish Market

“Lenzing has reported a gradual improvement in its performance in the first half of 2024, despite experiencing a sluggish recovery across the cellulosic fiber market. Posting revenues of 1.31 billion euros for the January to June, up 4.8 percent compared to the same period last year, Lenzing said that its 9 percent increase in fiber sales was offset by stubbornly low fiber prices and the continuation of higher raw material and energy costs.”
