Lenzing Teams with 11 Mills to Showcase TENCEL™ Fibers’ Versatility
The TENCEL™ Denim team is constantly collaborating with our supply chain partners—including manufacturers and brands—to develop new applications for our fiber innovations.
In the latest iteration of our Application Innovation collection, we have teamed up with 11 denim mill partners from countries including Pakistan, India, China and Vietnam. The 20-piece collection will debut at Kingpins Amsterdam this week.
The articles created use TENCEL™ Lyocell, Modal and ECOVERO™ in different weights ranging from light—appropriate for shirting or dresses—to medium and bottom weight fabrics. In addition to typical denim looks, the collection features faux-knit textiles as well as knit garments made from TENCEL™ Modal with Indigo Color technology. Among the pieces are cargos, indigo colored leggings, denim skirts, a romper and tops—including a vest and denim jacket.
This variation reflects the current trends in denim, as consumers look for head-to-toe denim dressing. Consumers are also seeking out comfort and softness in combination with lower impact materials—all of which these TENCEL™ blends accomplish. They are also after versatility in lifestyle, with denim taking them from work to play. Lenzing worked with the mills to create apparel that reflects all these trends in styling, wash effects and more, highlighting the broad potential of TENCEL™ materials.
Thank you to our mill partners Advance Denim, ADM, Blue Diamond, Panther Denim, Prosperity, Soorty, TCE, Tuong Long, Vita Textile, XDD and Yuanji Denim.
We keep rolling for new ideas and concepts for denim industry, and we love playing matrix, crossover with partners to create interesting articles. We always love to present new ideas to the market.
