Marzia Lanfranchi is the founder of Cotton Diaries, a global community committed to making cotton supply chains more sustainable, and the intelligence director at Transformers Foundation. Her mission is to shape a healthier fashion system by breaking companies’ silos and building bridges across supply chain segments. She’s worked in various roles, ranging from fabric development at Burberry, responsible sourcing and social compliance at U.K. retailer FatFace, to retail and marketing to even farming! (cotton) for companies internationally. She has gained understanding of the industry’s dynamics and how supply chains operate. She’s well-versed in the key sustainability challenges facing the textile industry today and works one-on-one with clients to overcome them. She’s Italian-born but internationally raised, having lived in four different countries and worked across the globe. A multilingual, out-of-the-box thinker who is highly dynamic and versatile, she strives for bringing fresh new perspectives into the room.
