Marc O’Polo’s Co-Branded TENCEL™ Collection Blends Scandi Style with Vacation Vibes
Germany-based sustainable fashion brand Marc O’Polo has teamed up with TENCEL™ for a co-branded collection of summer styles.
Marking the third collaboration between the fiber producer and the brand, the line of travel-ready wear for women reflects both partners’ emphasis on environmentally friendly design. The Spring/Summer 2024 collection uses light and airy fabrics in neutral tones inspired by the Azores—including beachy blues and tans.
“TENCEL™ is an extremely trustworthy partner that provides the best-known and most innovative fiber materials for the current SS24 Marc O’Polo highlights,” said Susanne Schwenger, CPO of Marc O’Polo. “Just like the pristine nature of the Azores in the middle of the Atlantic, the Marc O’Polox TENCEL™ collection combines beach-inspired shades of blue and beige with tropical patterns.”
The collection includes a few denim styles in medium blue, including a sleeveless swing dress, twill shirt dress, short sleeve T-shirt and jumpsuit. Marc O’Polo describes the line as “sophistication meets sustainability.”
TENCEL™ is an ideal choice for warm weather attire. Made from wood, the fibers are naturally breathable and absorbent. They are also silky and cool to the touch, making them comfortable for hotter climates.
The co-branded campaign launched on July 2 on social media and other digital media.
Marc O’Polo is striving to be one of the most sustainable premium fashion brands. When the Scandinavian firm was founded in 1967, it was dedicated to natural fibers, only using synthetics when necessary, and this ethos has remained. TENCEL™ and Lenzing ECOVERO™ fibers are both among Marc O’Polo’s preferred materials, along with organically grown fibers and responsibly sourced wool.
