Slideshow: Inside Kingpins Show New York
What better way to kick off the new year than with a denim show? The Lenzing Denim team was thrilled to participate in Kingpins Show New York, held from Jan. 11 to 12 at Basketball City at Pier 36.
From what we saw, post-pandemic dopamine dressing is still going strong, with bright-hued denim and embellished jeans. Another focus is comfort, as denim makers strive to help consumers feel good in their jeans—whether that means soft hand feel or stretchy fabrics that can grow and shrink with weight fluctuations.
At our own booth, we spotlighted how mills are using fiber innovations—including TENCEL™ Modal with Indigo Color technology, matte TENCEL™ and TENCEL™ x REFIBRA™. Customers also highly appreciated our “zero cotton” and “zero virgin cotton” applications that use materials like hemp, recycled cotton and TENCEL™. Additionally, we highlighted our Simple Pleasures collection that is all about joy.
