Slideshow: Scenes from Bluezone
This week, the Lenzing denim team was in Germany for Bluezone, the Munich Fabric Start trade show for denim, street and sportswear. With summer almost coming to a close, we all headed “back to school” courtesy of the show’s campus theme.
We were excited to preview the collection from our third annual Circle Book collaboration with Meidea, Officina+39 and other participants from the denim and textile world. In addition to displaying the pieces in our booth, Tricia Carey spoke on a panel with some of our partners in the initiative—Meidea’s Lucia Rosin, Andrea Venier of Officina+39, Alberto Guzzetti from Tejidos Royo, and Ereks’ Romain Narcy.
During Bluezone, we also hosted our second Blue Lenz Video Awards honoring strong, creative denim content. Check out who won here.
After the second and final day of the show, we took some of our partners on a bus trip to our production facility in Austria so they could see firsthand how we turn trees into fiber.
