Slideshow: What We Saw at Bluezone
After a year and a half of virtual trade shows, in-person events are starting to pick up again.
We were thrilled to be back in Munich, Germany for Bluezone’s show from Aug. 31 to Sept. 1. Bluezone is always an opportunity to connect with denim minds from around the globe and see the latest trends. This year’s theme, “Back to the Future,” blended a retro ‘80s aesthetic with forward-looking ideas. Panels covered innovations in materials, sustainability, circularity and manufacturing.
During Bluezone, we launched the second edition of The Circle Book, a collaborative project in partnership with Meidea and Officina+39. In addition to a stand at the show, a panel discussion and press conference filled attendees in on the making of the collection. Visitors to the Lenzing booth also got to explore the Bast Recast collection, and a panel explored the development of the hemp-based collection (watch the session here.)
We also hosted the first ever Blue Lenz Denim Video Awards ceremony, which honored the best films from our YouTube channel. If you missed the live event, click here to see who won!
