Since TENCEL™ fibers debuted commercially three decades ago, a growing portfolio of brands have been leveraging the materials for fashion and home goods, including denim.
Along the way, we’ve fielded countless questions from retailers about TENCEL™—from its sustainability profile to the ideal end-of-life disposal methods. Both merchants and their customers increasingly want to know more about the ingredients inside their products. While we would love to sit down with retail teams in person to do trainings, it’s not always possible to get everyone in the same place.
To bring information sharing to B2B customers’ fingertips, we’ve launched a micro-training mobile application. Called MyTrainingPal, the app includes three modules that can be tailored depending on a brand’s needs. The first section is a course on Lenzing fibers, including TENCEL™ and VEOCEL™, covering the manufacturing process, their environmental profile and innovations that create performance properties in finished goods. Another section allows brand partners to add their own content to train teams. The final course focuses on upskilling with third-party coursework.
Within the app, members of the same company can use a closed Chatroom to discuss lessons. The app can alert users via phone notification or email when there is a new brand-specific training available related to a development or product launch. Additionally, a gamification capability allows employees to earn virtual currency in the form of “stars” when they complete courses. The stars can be used to enter prize drawings.
With MyTrainingPal, our brand partners will be able to better communicate about Lenzing fibers’ benefits to the end consumer. The app will give teams the knowledge they need to help convince shoppers to pick TENCEL™ at point of sale.
