What We’re Watching on World Circular Textiles Day

Today is World Circular Textiles Day. Established last year by Circle Economy, University Arts London Centre for Circular Design and Worn Again Technologies, WCTD is held annually on Oct. 8 to celebrate what companies and organizations are doing to move toward a circular future. Lenzing is a signatory of WCTD, and we’ve committed to circularity through innovations like TENCEL™ with REFIBRA™ technology, which replaces a portion of the wood pulp with inputs with recycled cotton.

In honor of the occasion, here are a few videos from WCTD partners and denim mills discussing the meaning of circularity and their efforts to close the loop.
