Mavi Taps New Face for Fall Campaign Ahead of Nashville Denim Days
Next week, there’ll be much ado about denim in Nashville.
And Mavi, leading denim creator and innovator, will be there at Nashville Denim Days Nov. 10-11th in the TENCEL™ Denim display, to showcase what it’s been working on.
For Fall/Winter 2018, Mavi has brought back supermodel Romee Strijd as the face of its campaign. The season will be about the elements of truly refined jeans with an emphasis on the “SUPERMAVI” concept and a focus on its SuperSoft collection.
Mavi’s SuperSoft line keys in on fit and premium softness, stretch and structure, which uses TENCEL™ Lyocell to deliver in the smooth hand now in demand among consumers.
“We are excited for Romee Strijd to continue to be the face of Mavi this fall,” said Elif Akarlilar, the chief brand officer of Mavi. “Romee was such a pleasure to work with this past spring/summer and her personality and energy embodies our latest innovation in denim. Mavi is proud to design this new SuperSoft collection using the innovative TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric that retains its shape, looks clean, and is ultra- soft to the touch. Staying true to our DNA, the collaboration with TENCEL™ Lyocell is a testament to Mavi’s commitment to quality and superior comfort and softness. Comfortable, silky, and stretches with you when you move, it’s a denim lifestyle that matches perfectly with Romee. Her effortless style and active lifestyle makes this an organic partnership.”
And Romee has expressed the same excitement about continuing to work with Mavi—particularly as she loves the jeans.
“The jeans are the most comfortable pair I’ve tried and are perfect for when I travel,” she said. “They are my go-to jeans because they are so soft and stretchy.”
Mavi’s SuperSoft collection will become a staple in its product range moving forward, with pieces in the line ranging in price from $98 to $148. Mavi Supersoft collection will be on hand at the upcoming Denim Days for customers to try for themselves.
“Denim Days is a celebration of the denim community, our heritage and creativity, the latest technology and fabrics, education and sustainability efforts, and most importantly the people who live and breathe indigo,” said Mavi PR and marketing manager Alissa Friedman. “It brings together the old and new guard, and offers a platform for inspiration and conversation, where the industry can unite and act as a touch point to connect with local denim enthusiasts and true indigo fans.”
