In honor of the fourth anniversary of REFIBRA™ technology, Carved in Blue is looking back on the creation and commercialization of the fiber.
TENCEL™ x REFIBRA™ Lyocell was first announced in 2016 as a circular fiber option from Lenzing composed of recycled cotton and wood pulp. Since arriving on the market in 2017, the fiber has been adopted by numerous mills and brands around the globe, and Lenzing has continued to innovate the material to advance circularity.
