What to Expect from Denim Days’ Nashville Debut

It’s almost time for the debut edition of Denim Days in the music capital of the United States: Nashville, Tenn.

On Nov. 10 and 11, indigo lovers the world over will congregate at the international denim festival, sponsored by TENCEL™ branded lyocell fibers by Lenzing.

“We are pleased to join the inaugural Denim Days festival in Nashville as a sponsor to bring ‘TENCEL™ Feels So Right’ to consumers,” said Tricia Carey, TENCEL’s director of global business development for denim. “It is amazing to see denim enthusiasts discover how trees are made into jeans and feel the comfort of TENCEL™ Denim.”

Not only is there a display on how denim is made from trees, consumers can buy jeans at the TENCEL™ Denim shop including –

3×1:  women’s premium denim using latest fashion finishes.  Based in Soho and sewn in Los Angeles, these denim styles use superior fabrics and washes.

For the denim industry, Nashville—a certifiably denim-loving American city—was a wise choice for the festival’s next stop.

“We’re thrilled to bring Denim Days to Nashville after two successful events in New York,” said Andrew Olah, one of the organizers of Nashville Denim Days. “Nashville has a vibrant creative community, which makes it the perfect next city for the festival. We look forward to welcoming locals and visitors alike to experience Nashville Denim Days and learn more about the thriving denim industry.”

A handful of leaders in the industry will round out a Denim Speaker Series, with talks touching on innovation and inside indigo knowledge.  Check out “The Evolution of Fashion and A Peek at the Future” on Sat Nov 10th at 3pm for insight from local designers, Natalie Busby and Emily Phillips.

And beyond just denim, Denim Days in Nashville will bring the city’s music vibe to the bluebloods descending on the event. Singer/songwriter Nikki Lane will perform at the event and Nashville denim brand imogene + willie will host a party on Saturday, Nov. 10.

The Nashville Denim Days event is for all ages, with tickets priced at $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Students are admitted for $5 and kids under 12 attend for free.
